Food Basics

This page should give you some understanding on why "healthy food" choices are actually healthy and why "unhealthy" choices are actually bad for your health. In moderation, it is okay to treat yourself sure... although, we need to know the difference between all foods to even know which ones healthy and which ones are unhealthy. That way we can become aware of the fact, that there should be a balance to keep our health in good condition. If you splurge on unhealthy food, there is a significantly higher consequence then there is if you splurge on healthy food. Just knowing what the difference is, could help you balance your cravings and diet overall. Deficiencies are also a highly neglected topic here in the USA. It is important to become aware of them. I hope this helps aware more people about basic food knowledge to determine on their own, which foods are Healthy and unhealthy, as well as becoming aware of and/or trying to prevent nutrient deficiency. Just this knowledge alone can help prevent disease and keep your immune system healthy.

Good Notes:

Fruits and veggies come from trees or the ground, they are supposed to supply us with natural vitamins and minerals of the earth. Sadly, appearance of the product is vastly more important in USA grocery stores, the best thing we can do to somewhat protect ourselves is to buy locally and make a baking soda bath for fruits and veggies before serving. A baking soda bath is done by cleaning your sink or filling a cleaned container with cold water and baking soda, let your fruits and veggies sit in this water mixture for at least 5 minutes.

Bad Notes:
