Some safety rules, common courtesies:
Do not bring your firearm into the Check-In office. Keep it in the car while you sign the waiver and Check-in.
Have some basic understanding of your firearm before coming to the range. Dry firing is okay for most firearms.
Always keep firearms pointed UP and never point at others. Unless on the line and aiming down range, your gun will be held and pointing up or in its case.
Have a firearm case, for when you're carrying from your vehicle to your line.
Every 15 and 45 minutes of the hour, a cease fire will commence and you can put out or grab targets down range. The whole side of that range will be safety checked and is common courtesy to keep your firearm on the shooting table or the line pointing down range. (Chamber open, bolt to the rear)
...Stand behind the yellow line, once you have secured your firearm. You will be given an ALL-CLEAR overhead and then you may proceed down the range to put up or move your target. Once everyone is back and clear, firing will be resumed.Do not shoot other people's targets.
Bring your own ammo or buy some there.
Keep your misfire rounds to give to staff or put in a designated bucket.
Ask for help if you need assistance with your firearm. Do not be scared to ask, it could save your life or a hand/finger. Staff are experienced with firearms.
